Extreme to exceptional surpluses will resolve in most northern regions of Australia. Isolated exceptional deficits throughout Australia are expected to resolve, but some will remain in southeastern coastal regions of the continent, as well as portions of New Zealand. 

Surpluses will remain in northern areas of Queensland, as well as some isolated areas of Northern Territory and Western Australia. 

Moderate to severe surpluses will remain in northern areas of Australia.  

Widespread extreme to exceptional surpluses will dissipate in northern regions of Australia, as will exceptional deficits in several regions of the continent. Severe to extreme surpluses will persist in isolated regions of Western Australia and Northern Territory. 

The forecast indicates that extreme to exceptional surpluses in northern Australia will diminish, though will still remain present in some regions of Northern Territory. Exceptional deficits across the continent will similarly dissipate, though severe deficits are expected along the southern coast of Victoria.
